Yesterday was the release of Mozilla’s Firefox for the IOS and it is finally here. I’m happy that over months the I waited for the official release for a long time now, I’m super happy that it is out and was a big pass to be release on the Apple App Store. What I do wanted to say and review over about the application it self that I wanted to write about its upside and downside of the Firefox app and what I like about it. When I download and try it out for a few days it was very, very simple to use and I like it’ll be something I’ll like to add as a default browser on Iphone and I think it’ll be great. But as a fan of Firefox I have to say that I’m disappointed about it as much that I’m excited about a IOS released of firefox. I can’t help but slam down the application. But what I do like most on android version is that it has more options privacy than this version and I wanted to like it more but again, it easily shows its flaws for me when I don’t see any network settings like setting up http proxy settings on the desktop version of FF. What don’t like on this version is that it lacks a lot of the features that android already on its 42.0 version. I like to see IOS version catch in the future that android already has and I know that soon more fans like to see more Privacy, Sync, Customize, Display and Developer tools added on some point in future Firefox IOS versions (Current version 1206). A start is a start for the browser and I like to see more features coming on the IOS and do whatever I can do to volunteer my part into the Mozilla community.
- The Good
The App is stable and works well for its official release on version 1.1, it is easy to navigate the browser just the android app version. The bookmark was a smooth process with no issues.
- The Bad
Not enough privacy settings on firefox and not to many settings and lack customization on the browser with no firefox marketplace.
